Jason Faryniak has done an outstanding job for the Demarest fire Department. We have received $600,000.00 over 6 years applying for a Safer Grant, and numerous AFG grants. With these awards, we updated our entire SCBA stock, upgraded our portable radio’s, ensuring each member has an assigned radio, stated a health and fitness program, which included state of the art weightlifting equipment and training sessions, and secured a SAFER grant to establish a recruitment and retention program. Every year chiefs from surrounding towns call me for Jason’s number! A true professional in what he does!
